Barry Lockitch

Barry qualified as a CA (SA) in 1968 having previously attained the degree of Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town. He joined the firm of Epstein Bloch in 1969 which was the forerunner of Grant Thornton Kessel Feinstein in Cape Town. He became a partner in 1971 and over the years he’s been responsible for the audit of a range of public and private companies. He has also been consulted extensively by his and the firms’ clients on various matters ranging from business advice, estate planning, strategic planning, acquisitions, disposals and company structuring.

Barry has also been involved in community work for many years. His involvement has been primarily with the Oranjia Jewish Childrens Home and the Joint Welfare Council.

Barry joined Wilder Lockitch (formerly Groves Wilder) as a partner in February 1999.
